Rental prices across Northern Ireland have increased due to a lack of available properties. The latest PropertyPal Housing Market Report, covering Q4 2024, shows the average rent prices in Northern Ireland have increased by 9% over the last year and 1.3% in the last three months.
The newest housing report details the cheapest and most expensive places in Northern Ireland to rent. Broken down by council area, the figures show the most expensive place to rent is Belfast , followed by Lisburn & Castlereagh and Ards & North Down . On the latest rental statistics, he said: "These latest figures are a damning indictment of the Communities Minister's failure to curb an out-of-control private rented sector.
