The Naked Gun reboot cast continues to grow, as Liza Koshy, WWE superstar Cody Rhodes, and a handful of others have signed onto the project.
Koshy and Rhodes will be joined by CCH Pounder and music legend Busta Rhymes, all of whom will appear in the film in some fashion. Koshy is best known for being one of the biggest YouTube stars on the planet, and has also appeared in a number of films, including Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Rhodes is the current reigning WWE Undisputed Champion, while Pounder’s most recent role came in 2023’s Rustin.
Akiva Schaffer is directing and executive producing the remake. He also co-wrote the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, while Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins are producing the movie., the film will be based on the Naked Gun franchise as well as the television series Police Squad! Further plot details remain under wraps at this time.in 2022, “Well, I’m interested in comedy.
