The new bars and restaurants opening in Manchester this September

There's everything from new coffee spots and rum gardens to dessert parlours and dive bars opening in Manchester this month

Another month and another assembly of new cocktail bars, food halls, coffee places and dessert parlours for us to spend our pay check in.

Diecast, the gigantic new music, food and drink venue which opened behind Piccadilly train station in July will be unveiling its new beer garden complete with bookable rum caravans - yes really - while Kargo, a huge new food hall, will open its doors at Salford Quays with 22 vendors including capacity of 400 seats, a 2,000 square foot outdoor terrace, five waterside shipping container kitchens, and a shipping container bar.

Elsewhere, caffeine fiends will have a new place to get their fix in the form of Allpress Espresso's new city centre outpost, and dessert lovers can get stuck into Hong Kong-style cloud waffles over in the Village. Oh and those wanting to sink a few beers and bag some free pizza - that's on the cards too.Allpress Espresso

Tucked away in the Noma neighbourhood , and joining neighbours New Century and the Sadler’s Cat, Allpress Espresso will be taking up residence in the Redfern Building. Born in New Zealand, they already provide speciality coffees for some of Manchester's very best brunch spots, and have shops in London, Singapore and Japan. And now Manchester, of course. It’ll also be a barista training hub, for those who fancy adding an extra string to their bow.Part of the new £3.
