With Valentine’s Day nearly upon us, you might be planning a last-minute romantic getaway with a loved one.
The Lake District bagged the top spot in the study, conducted by the website Photo and Video Edits, and was named the most romantic place to visit. The Lake District took the number one spot with a total of 5,119,203 Instagram hashtags. A landscape of tranquil lakes, dramatic mountains and magical villages, it’s not hard to see why this national park came out on top.
Coming behind the Lakes in second place is the Peak District, which amassed a total of 2,981,427. It may not attract as many visitors at the Lake District, but it’s certainly worthy of a Valentine’s visit.
