Author, entrepreneur and West Philly born Deesha Dyer wants her memoir,"Undiplomatic: How my Attitude Created the Best Kind of Trouble" to help young women deal with impostor syndrome.
Dyer moved back to Philadelphia and landed a gig at a Center City real estate company. She wrote freelance articles about thefor local newspapers and websites and on the weekend, danced the nights away at Five Spot, Zanzibar Blue, and Fluid. In 2009, she applied to be a White House intern while working and taking classes at Community College of Philadelphia. When she was offered the internship, her life changed. But her bout with impostor syndrome was just beginning.
