It’s official: A new show set in the world of ‘The Office’ is coming to streaming.
announced today that they will be making an as-yet-untitled new television series set after the events of the beloved NBC sitcom The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.
So the idea is less a show about a new bunch of employees at Dunder Mifflin than the same structural concept — a workplace comedy series that looks like a fake documentary — from some of the same creators that takes place in a different location.aired on NBC, and the acclaimed comedy series continues to gain popularity and build new generations of fans on Peacock.
