The television series stars Jeff Bridges as Dan Chase, an ex-CIA agent living off the grid who gets sucked back into the world of espionage when his past in Afghanistan comes back to haunt him.
However, Bote does not have the overarching control he thinks because Hamzad takes over the kidnapping and has Emily brought to him. Most likely, Chase and Harper will team up and go after Emily while trying to stop Hamzad. Emily getting rescued by the men would be a predictable and satisfying conclusion to this arc, but it would be even more exciting if she gets herself out of this situation.

This proved to be very wrong, as it turned out she is the biological daughter of Hamzad and was taken to America with Chase and his wife Abbey when they left Afghanistan.
4 Zoe And Dan Reunited Hopefully, Amy Brenneman will be back for season 2 Close Zoe is secretly a very intelligent character in The Old Man and holds her own against Chase when he shows up at her doorstep, and she gets swept up in his world. However, once she did all she could for him, they went their separate ways, as Chase was on a mission to find his daughter and keep his family safe.
