Hilarious scenes on the chat show as Alex slipped up
There was a surprise on BBC's The One Show as Robson Green revealed he had a famous relative. The Soldier Soldier, Grantchester and Wire in the Blood star took to the couch on the chat show to discuss his new TV series Robson Green's Weekend Escapes.
The One Show host Alex Jones joked that Robson, 58, was "half hoping" he would be interviewed alongside Alan after he had just found out a family connection. Jaws dropped as he revealed that the Northumberland-born star is related to the Chatty Man host, 46."I recently found out," he said. "My mum rang and said 'you're related to Alan' when I told her I was coming on the show.
Later Alex sparked laughs as she slipped up with the name of Robson's show, which is set in the north east and features his family and famous friends including I'm a Celebrity winner Jill Scott.
