Viewers watched on in discomfort as presenter Alex Jones interviewed her ex-partner
Fans of the popular BBC programme, The One Show, said they watched on in discomfort as presenter Alex Jones interviewed her ex-partner. The well-knon show often invites guests on to help tackle current affairs and other issues in the UK.
Twitter user Vicky B typed: "Didn't Alex and Steve date and he stole a job from her? #TheOneShow." Erin commented: " #theoneshow interviewing Kate Moss before celebrity writer Steve Jones, she’d probably only get published now if she was Kate Moss ffs enough publishers! He’s not even famous! @PenguinUKBooks "The Welsh broadcasters were in a relationship from 1999 to 2002 when they both worked on Channel 4 show Rise.
“I was staying in his [Steve’s] flat at the time when I was working in London and he picked up the landline and said ‘Al’s not here. She’s not feeling well, she’s had to go back to Cardiff’ – I was in Topshop," she said. “So he did the interview,” Alex added.
