Last year The Queen had an overnight stay in King Edward VII's Hospital in Marylebone on October 20. Buckingham Palace said she went to hospital for some preliminary investigations and returned to Windsor Castle at lunchtime the following day. The King Edward VII's is a private hospital used by senior royals. It was the first time the Queen has stayed in hospital since 2013, when she suffered symptoms of gastroenteritis.
