Australian Road Safety Foundation founder Russell White said this was a "deliberate" choice and a clear indication that "something is not right"."It's not just the risk of getting caught, it's the risk of having the crash."Transport and Main Roads executive director Melissa Cummins said the data was "disappointing to see".
