With Halloween just around the corner, the Daily Record has looked ahead to Bonfire Night to round up some of the bonfires and fireworks displays being held around Scotland.
Villages, towns, and cities across Scotland will be hosting bonfire and fireworks events this November, with people coming together to watch spectacular displays of colour. While many of these are sticking to the classics, with simple bonfires and fireworks, others are playing host to fairgrounds where you can enjoy rides and chow down on some tasty snacks.
Starting from 11am and running all throughout the day and evening, highlights of the free-to-attend event include a performance from legendary R&B group The Drifters and Motown, a live wrestling show, and of course the firework display at 7pm.More information can be found on the Glasgow Fort website.
After that, the skies above the town will be lit up starting from 7.30pm. The fireworks show, which is free to attend, brought a crowd of around 30,000 in 2022 — and this year's could be even bigger.More information can be found on the Falkirk Council website. With plenty to see and do — including fairground rides and tasty food and drink — the main event will consist of a Halloween-inspired fireworks display set to lights, lasers, and music.More information can be found on the Fawkes Festival website.
As the name suggests, fireworks will be set to classic film scores. Meanwhile, there will also be a fairground, as well as a bonfire and even a bungee jump.More information can be found on the Hopetoun House Fireworks website.
