The pretty coastal town has been named among the places that you may want to visit this year whether it's for food and drink, a game of golf or some festive shopping.
Christmas is just around the corner and soon, many of us will be wrapping our gifts and placing them under the tree.
Naming the town as "the most Christmassy" on the list, The Times also said the area is a perfect place to head to thanks to its various vintage shops and bookstore - whether you like something traditional or old-fashioned - as well as their whisky shops, cashmere boutique and we can't forget the independent stores selling golfing goods.
Elsewhere, Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire topped the list, with The Times applauding its diverse range of shops that sell everything from aromatic soaps to unconventional homeware.
