Those missing Glasgow's official fireworks display this year might find the perfect replacement in a new fireworks spooktacular event this autumn just over 40 mins from Glasgow.
With Glasgow recently confirming there won't be an official fireworks display this year, those pining for their usual Guy Fawkes entertainment could have an alternative. A country estate not far from Glasgow is hosting its own fireworks 'spooktacular' event this autumn.
Fawkes Festival will feature an exciting programme of events with entertainment, fairground rides, fabulous food and drink, and a huge fireworks display choreographed to music – all with the idyllic 14th-century castle as a backdrop.
