These Scottish beaches look straight out of the Caribbean
Fortunately, Scotland is home to countless scenic bays that are well worth a visit whether you're keen for a fun trip with family and friends or a quiet day out by yourself.
A few of these beaches are collectively known as the Silver Sands of Morar, found along the coast from Arisaig to Morar. The series of renowned beaches are famous for their white sands and beautiful turquoise waters.View gallery In fact, they even rival the Mediterranean and the Caribbean in terms of atmosphere and views. If an expensive holiday abroad isn't on the cards this year, they are certainly the next best thing.
Among the unspoilt rock-framed sandy beaches, Camusdarach is perhaps the most popular. A top spot for swimming, rock pooling, and walking, it is a great shout whether you're headed there with others or alone.
