Lady Gaga isn't necessarily the first person you think of when you think “Olympics Opening Ceremony in Paris, France,' but that made her feather-bedecked performance all the more fun! Mother Monster performed “Mon Truc en Plumes” looking Parisian chic with pulled-back platinum blonde hair, bleached brows, and glamorous red lips—a.k.a. the signature Lady Gaga glam, enhanced by lots and lots of feathers.
“I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song—a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre,” Gaga wrote on Instagram alongside some gorgeous posed pictures of her performance look. “This song was sung by Zizi Jeanmaire, born in Paris a French ballerina, she famously sang ‘Mon Truc en Plumes’ in 1961. The title means ‘My Thing with Feathers.
