Perfect for summer, and on the coast, too

A Lancashire holiday park that's been described by visitors as a "small slice of heaven" has been awarded a top rating.

They were all visited by inspectors this year and have earned the highest possible ratings due to their facilities, beautifully maintained holiday parks and stunning countryside locations. Holgates was previously awarded the AA Best Campsite and Caravan Park Award for 2022/23.Holgates received the prestigious rating from VisitEngland as a recognition of their commitment to outstanding service.

Holgates Silverdale Holiday Park is located in a stunning area of Cumbria and Lancashire, with views of Morecambe Bay. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site offers breathtaking views, walks and plenty of activities for all the family. One Silverdale Holiday Park visitor described it as “a small slice of heaven”, the M.E.N reports. They wrote: “There is not a holiday park in the UK that beats this place for quality of service, layout and surroundings. This is a small slice of heaven. The pools are excellent. The touring pitches are large and very well kept. The facilities are spotless 24/7.”The team at the Holgates Family Group said they are 'overjoyed to receive recognition from both the AA and VisitEngland'.
