The Sex Education star will play a hedonistic party girl who moves in with her divorced dad after getting pregnant in Daddy Issues.
We can't wait for more Aimee Lou Wood-style comedy, which will soon be hitting our screens in the form of the BBC TV series Daddy Issues. The best part? The trailer has literally just dropped – you can watch it below. The Sex Education star will lead the show alongside David Morrissey. Together, they'll play the rather dysfunctional father-daughter duo Gemma and Malcolm, who must navigate their own issues, as well as Gemma's unplanned pregnancy.
“At its heart Daddy Issues is a classic odd couple comedy about two funny, deeply flawed characters, who just happen to be father and daughter,” the show's bio reads. “Along the way there will be dating disasters and failed romances, toxic friendships and messy family dynamics, plus a dangerously sociopathic antenatal teacher.” Sign us up.
