JEFF KENNETT , FORMER VICTORIAN PREMIER: It is a tough game. it's a very tough game, particularly when you're fighting from within.ELIAS CLURE: In a chaotic day, Moira Deeming was readmitted to the party.
TONY BARRY, REDBRIDGE POLLING: It's more a symbol of a recognition by the Liberal Party that it needs to pitch to the outer suburbs to be competitive. BRAD BATTIN: No, not at all. I'm looking forward to catching up with Peter. I'm sure, I think it's this weekend, so I’ve had a quick chat to him in the past.
ELIAS CLURE: Would you accept though that the people of Victoria, specifically, in and around the suburbs of Melbourne are probably more moderate than the rest of Australia, and is that how you would describe yourself politically? We'll be concentrating on reducing taxes, trying to create investment here in our, in Victoria, finding ways to grow the economy.
