A Glasgow music event with a ‘positive message’ is hoping to ‘change attitudes’ in the city.
Love Glasgow Hate Racism, organised by the football fan club Glasgow St Pauli, will be coming to The Barrowland Ballroom on Saturday, September 9.
“We are welcoming to asylum seekers and refugees, but we aren’t blind when it comes to the racism that does exist in this city.Tickets for the event with cost £30, with all money raised going towards the Glasgow RefugeeHe added: “We have done the festival at the Queen Margaret Union, but this is the first year in the Barras.“It deserves its place there and should share this positive message in the city centre.
Paul will be joined by other Wakes members, Eamonn Maguire , Chris Cruickshank , Christopher James , Danny McGuinness , Conor Markey and Stephen Dowling .Unite, who is sponsoring the event, said they are 'excited and proud' to present a charity gig spreading a resounding anti-racist message.
