TheWanted re-release new version of hit song Gold Forever in honour of Tom Parker
The Wanted have re-released a new version of their 2011 Comic Relief song Gold Forever in honour of their late bandmate, Tom Parker.
The Wanted's 2011 hit Gold Forever could be heard playing in a clip filmed after Tom's funeral ceremony outside St Francis of Assis Church while fans lined the streets and emotionally clapped. The boyband, Island Records and the song's writers and producers will donate all proceeds from the re-release to The Brain Tumour Charity.
As the track played from tall speakers during Tom's funeral, a group of pallbearers could be seen carrying the coffin in front of a procession of guests as they slowly made their way out of the church.The balloon was let go as the coffin was taken down the path, and the crowd clapped in support as they saw Tom's heartbroken wife Kelsey following behind, arm-in-arm with another guest.
