Following its theatrical release on June 7 of this year, The Watchers will soon arrive on Max for its streaming debut.
, The Watchers follows a 28-year-old artist as she becomes trapped in a reclusive forest along with three strangers who are stalked by terrifying creatures called “the watchers.” It is based on the novel of the same name by A. M. Shine, published in 2021.Hailing from Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema, The Watchers will make its global streaming debut on Max on Friday, August 30.
“This forest isn’t charted on any map. Every car breaks down at its tree line. Mina’s is no different. Left stranded, she is forced into the dark woodland only to find a woman shouting, urging Mina to run to a concrete bunker,” the synopsis reads. “As the door slams behind her, the building is besieged by screams. Mina finds herself in a room with a wall of glass, and an electric light that activates at nightfall, when the Watchers come above ground.
