Colin, from Fife, scooped the £92,000 jackpot on The Wheel leaving viewers at home emotional.
Colin, from Fife, was a contestant on Michael McIntyre's The Wheel and left viewers at home in floods of tears after winning the huge cash jackpot. The game show has seven celebrities who are tasked with helping contestants answer a number of questions as they all sit on a wheel that spins around to pair them up at random.
"According to the Natural History Museum, which of these dinosaurs would have been the heaviest?" Michael asked. Colin responded confidently: "Diplodocus," before erupting with joy after being told he won the jackpot. He added: "Sensible things, paying off some bills and things like that; home improvements.- It’s massive memories I can make with my son and my family – amazing."
Viewers were taken aback by Colin's emotional response, and took to social media as the show aired to congratulate him. One viewer wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "It is an exceptionally depressing sign of the times in Britain when gameshow contestants win a large sum of money, like Colin on #TheWheel tonight and the words ‘Cost of Living’ come out of their mouths in recognition of what it means to win. You should be deeply ashamed @RishiSunak.
