Jo Joyner is set to grace our screens once again in the upcoming Channel 5 mystery drama The Wives, starring alongside Tamzin Outhwaite and Angela Griffin. The show is scheduled to premiere on Monday, 16 September.
Her husband, Neil Madden, shares her connection to the acting world as a drama teacher and actor, having appeared in popular series like The Bill, Lewis, Holby City, and Silent Witness. Jo has been candid about her experience with IVF, which she and Neil turned to after three years of trying for a baby. In a 2022 interview with The Mirror, she spoke about her fertility struggles and expressed feeling "incredibly lucky" to have her twins.
Jo also shared that she's currently working on an intimate narrative about her experiences. She added: "I'm writing a book actually, just for myself at the moment. It's an IVF-based thing. I've got a lot of journals from when I went through my IVF treatment, for my own sanity."
