A new developer is working to overhaul the disastrous XIII remake.
wasn't a hit when it was released in 2003, but it did manage to amass something of a cult following and so there was some low-key but legitimate excitement when Microids announced in 2019 that it was getting a remake. Then the remake arrived, and it was, to use the professional term, staggeringly craptastic.
."Hard at work for more than a year on a major update. This update will be released on September 13th. The reaction to the news of the remade remake is generally positive overall, but there are understandable criticisms too. It's been more than a year since the last update to the XIII remake, leading owners to wonder if it had been abandoned. Others wonder why, if the update has been in the works for more than a year, Microids doesn't have a couple of new screenshots to show off.
