There was an “overwhelming eagerness” to discredit the Wuhan lab leak theory after former US president Donald Trump made the claim, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.
New US intelligence suggested an accidental laboratory leak in China was most likely the cause of the COVID-19 pandemic.She said the Wuhan lab leak theory was always a “plausible explanation”.
“There was just so much there, and yet because Trump said it, there was this overwhelming eagerness to discredit the theory,” Ms Panahi said.
