New US intelligence suggested an accidental laboratory leak in China was most likely the cause of the COVID-19 pandemic.She said the Wuhan lab leak theory was always a “plausible explanation”.

“There was just so much there, and yet because Trump said it, there was this overwhelming eagerness to discredit the theory,” Ms Panahi said.
