A man has gone viral on social media after he shared a list of American baby names that he claimed would 'thrive' across the pond but would 'never exist' in the UK - and people were quick to share their thoughts
A bloke's compilation of baby names that are big hits Stateside but would be non-starters here in the UK has been causing quite the stir online.
He pointed out that Peyton, when said with a southern American drawl, sounds akin to "painting", jesting: "Whatcha Peyton over there?" He then added: "From Peyton, you just have to play around with the first letters and you get unlimited American names like Clayton and Brayden." Controversially, the next name up for debate was Evelyn - which a significant number of commenters argued is indeed a popular girls' name in the UK. However, the man was adamant that it felt more like an American name to him, adding: "All Evelyns are wearing plaid riding around on horseback."
