An investigation has been launched
Opportunistic thieves reportedly made off with TVs, mobile phones and a car in the driveway during a daring dawn raid as a Knightswood family slept upstairs.
In a post shared on social media, a family member of the house on Craggan Drive told how the burglars hit in the early hours of Saturday, June 24, and managed to get away with the stash and the vehicle before the police were alerted. An appeal for any nearby dashcams or video doorbells which may have picked up any footage of the incident was also put out.“My brother is disabled and they have taken his bag with his taxi money that takes him to and from school and other belongings.”
Police confirmed they received a report of a house break-in and explained they managed to recover some of the items that were stolen.spokesperson said: “Around 5.10am on Saturday, June 24, officers were called to a report of a break-in and a car stolen from Craggan Drive, Glasgow.“The vehicle has since been recovered.”
