Hugo Rocha’s “Untitled, 2021, mixed media on paper, 12×18 inches” is part of the “Taking Up Space” exhibit, Nov. 11-Dec. 23, at Tierra del Sol’s new art gallery in West Hollywood. The event honoring veterans includes a Civil War encampment, a display of military vehicles and a Veterans Day program, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 10. The program, at 11 a.m., includes an honor guard, live music and remarks by keynote speaker Lt. Col. Scott Mann.
The City of Santa Clarita co-hosts the event that honors veterans and includes Veterans Day remarks by local veterans and patriotic music, 11 a.m. Nov. 11. Master of Ceremonies Jan Daley sings the National Anthem. Korean War veteran Richard Myers is the keynote speaker.
