It has been known by a few names, including The Carnarvon and Oscar Slater's, named after a Polish immigrant living in Glasgow. One of the pub's most familiar - and current - names is Camerons, which was the name first given to it when John Cameron took over in 1970 and was the name behind Sir Paul in the photo.
