The Killams are considered one of America’s top landowners, with a gas and oil dynasty that was established over a century ago. This particular Killam property is located in Bee and San Patricio Counties, less than 35 miles from Corpus Christi and 190 miles from.
“The seller has owned the property for about 15 years,” says listing agent Jay Leyendecker of Hall and Hall. “They have thoroughly enjoyed the ranch throughout their ownership and all its amenities. Their primary operations are just a little too far west of the ranch and therefore, they have decided to offer the ranch for sale.” The property’s appeal also lies within its agricultural opportunity.
“The ranch is in a tightly held area in southern Texas where larger ranches are rarely seen in the marketplace,” Leyendecker says. “The O|W’s location and diversity make it an absolute dynamite combination of a large holding. The ranch has enjoyed three revenue streams in the past, with the potential of a fourth.
