The Audi SQ8 costs $168,000 and has sports styling but it will haul a family effortlessly under almost any conditions.

The SQ8 is the newest version of Audi’s stylish Q8 SUV. It has been launched concurrently with a cheaper and more conservatively styled SQ7, with the same underpinnings and drivetrain. Note though that the SQ8 is the go-fast, but not the go-$168,800 plus on-road costs and options. In our test car’s case the options included a $14K Sensory Package , and a $10K Dynamic Package which comprises active roll stabilisation and a sport differential. The total price was $197,321, plus on-road costs.
