Former Hawke and Keating government minister Graham Richardson has revealed his prediction for the upcoming Voice to Parliament as he shared his intention to vote yes at the polls.
The former NSW senator also said previously said he thought the Voice would pass, though he didn’t think it would have much impact.
“I think a lot of the urban Aboriginals are very excited about this, I think the excitement dims the further you get away from capital cities.” “It's a terrible, terrible problem. But the idea that the voice will fix what money hasn't is something that I can't quite grasp.” However, one position that has remained consistent in the former Labor minister’s position is that the referendum result will not have a major impact on the Prime Minister’s standing, though for different reasons.
