Within a couple of hours of the Hello hitmaker's new music video going live, searches for ‘Adele’s nails’ shot up by a staggering 900%, according to online beauty retailer, Look Fantastic, while searches for ‘’’dark nails’’ also shot up by a huge 426%.The singer is known for her hand-movements when she sings.

Her long, slender almond-shaped nails got a fair amount of air time, so it makes sense she'd ensure they were in perfect condition even whilst singing her latest heartbreak anthem. And, it seems people are keen to replicate the red-black oxblood shade. As one Twitter user jokingly noted: “If there's one thing Adele taught me, it's that you can be sad, you can be depressed, but you can't miss your nail appointment. And I'll always owe her for that life lesson.
