Turkey, sprouts, Christmas presents, Baileys… The Irish cream liqueur is a staple on many festive shopping lists around the country. But if you’re stocking up ahead of the holidays, you’ll want to make sure you get the best price. The major supermarkets are all vying with each other to get shoppers through the doors at this time of year. Which means they’re offering some great deals on the creamy festive tipple.
Asda, Amazon and Ocado currently have the drink priced at £13. And in Tesco and Sainsbury’s it’s on offer for just a tenner. And, although there may be more deals coming in the run up to Christmas, if you want to guarantee a low price it’s worth stocking up this weekend.When do the Baileys' £10 offers end? ‘Tesco is offering a one-litre bottle of Baileys for £10 in stores and online until Monday 9 December with a Clubcard,’ says the MSE team. While in Scotland, it costs £11.05.
‘It's possible we'll see more supermarkets drop the price of a litre-bottle to £10 in the lead-up to Christmas,’ says the MSE team. Which promises to update money savers with any new offers when they happen.And if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, Aldi’s Baileys dupe has been getting rave reviews. Priced at just £4.99 for a 70cl bottle, Netmums' Associate Editor Joanna Harland-Lovell says the Ballycastle Country Cream tastes just like the real thing.
