Charity shops say they're inundated with toys in the new year but donating toys before the festive season could help make a child's Christmas
We’ve not reached October half term yet but kids across the country are already starting to think about their Christmas lists. Whether it’s video games, mud kitchens or the latest Barbie accessory though, parents are probably wondering where on earth they’ll fit even more toys.
Photo credit : Shutterstock 'She always sees parents in the days before Christmas looking for toys who might be strapped for cash' The post reads: 'I do this every year, my boys love sorting out their toys for other children to play with,' said one mum.'I always used to do this with my boys,' she commented. 'We cleared out in November on inset days and took them to charity shops then.'
2. The exception to the tip above is sets of Lego or Duplo – incomplete sets of these toys are very popular and still generate lots of fun.
