Matty Lock was a popular member of the Labour Party and was recently elected as a town councillor in Maghul.
This Morning guest Matty Lock's final snaps before his tragic death saw the popular young man helping the local community.
Some of the pictures were simply of the Maghull area and one image was a selfie of Matty with a fellow local councillor as they both donned red high-vis vests whilst sweeping up rubbish and leaves from the ground. "He was a delightful young man, a joy to work with and his passion for vacuum cleaners and general mechanics was infectious. His family came to the studio and they were so proud that he’d turned a childhood hobby into a career. We will miss him and send our condolences to his family."
