Beauty expert Nadine Baggott has shared her top picks for quality and affordability
Beauty expert Nadine Baggott, who has tested 'every cleanser and moisturiser under the sun' during her 30-year career, shared a bargain beauty tip with viewers of This Morning. Despite having tried countless skincare products, some costing quite the sum, she revealed her favourite affordable high street picks - and believes it's 'crazy' to splurge more than £20 on a cleanser.
Both labels figure prominently in her skincare regime, consistently offering results that rival those of pricier luxury brands, reports the Mirror. One of Nadine's key picks is The Ordinary's Glycolipid Cleanser, priced at a modest £11.10. Debuted last Spring, the lightweight, creamy lotion quickly became a staple in the beauty aficionado's routine, noted for its sublime texture.
Boasting a 4.3-star rating out of five on the Boots website, customers are voicing their satisfaction. One customer stated: "I really love this cream cleanser, a gentle non drying non greasy cleanser. Removes everything from a normal day of activity. Would definitely repurchase." Nadine is a huge advocate for The Ordinary cleanser, which costs less than £15. She said: "I don't know why anyone would ever spend huge amounts of money on a cleanser. I look at brands launching cleansers upwards of £50 and I just think it's crazy because it literally goes down the drain. I pull my hair out if I see someone spend more than, at the most, £20 on a cleanser.
The £15.20 nourishing cream is designed to smooth, firm and protect your complexion. The formula is powered by bio-active ceramides which work to protect your skin barrier from environmental stressors, while locking in long-lasting moisture.
