This Morning expert and 10 Years Younger star Dr Uchenna Okoye died on Friday
The late star, who often appeared on ITV show This Morning and 10 Years Younger in 10 Days, is survived by her daughter. The news of the doctor's death was confirmed via her Instagram account, with her loved ones sharing a picture of Dr Uchenna and breaking the sad news, MirrorOnline reports.
Tributes flooded in for Uchenna following the tragic news. One person wrote: "Our wonderful Uchenna - it’s so sad. Vibrancy, kindness, generosity and love were in her soul and those of us who knew her adored her and her beautiful daughter. Condolences to Uchenna’s loving family." Another added: "Beautiful Uchenna! An industry beacon who quickly became a friend to many of us. So warm, generous and funny. Sending condolences to her family and friends.
Earlier this year Uchenna opened up about the demands of her job and how she relaxed after a long day. Speaking to Hello!, she shared: "I always make time for a massage once a week, but I realised these aren't simply a luxury. As a busy dentist, I spent a full 10 hours a day crouched over looking into people’s mouths, so a massage is a necessity."
The TV star added: "My daughter loves it too and gets excited when she sees me lighting them as she knows it is her time with me also, it’s downtime." The tragic news come just days after fellow This Morning guest Matty Lock also died.
