Featuring an innovative exterior by HydroTec and a sophisticated interior by Design Unlimited, the newcomer showcases several significant structural modifications that set it apart from the original model. For starters, the overhang on the upper deck was extended to create space for the pickleball court. The court is surrounded by a lightweight carbon-fiber structure with nets that prevent balls from flying overboard.
The extra length on the upper deck also creates a large shaded area on the main deck below that can hold a 23-foot tender and a couple of Jet Skis. The vessels can be deployed by the overhead crane to transform the space into a luxurious outdoor lounge with a bar, heated pool, and collapsible bulwarks.
Performance-wise, the Flexplorer 165 is equipped with two Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines that enable a maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,800 nautical miles at 10 knots. “It’s been a privilege to work with the owner on this project,” CdM’s sales manager Carlo Aquilanti said in a. “From our first conversation, it was clear that the Flexplorer 165 was the perfect match for him.
