One of the resources not available in the remote town is a Meals on Wheels service, and a group of teenagers have been stepping in to help, with assistance from volunteers from the P&C Association and the local school.About a dozen young people spend a Saturday morning about twice a term preparing meals for 50 people."We are cooking sticky date pudding, chicken soup and spaghetti bolognese because that was a recommendation from the last time we did it," he said.
