Tucked away in a Wirral woodland, Benty Farm Tearooms offers a charming escape with seasonal activities and homemade treats.
Autumn is now getting underway and many of us will be heading outside to enjoy moments of sunshine on scenic walks or staying inside surrounded by cosy décor and watching our favourite seasonal films. In recent years, we've seen the season be embraced in a similar way to Christmas, with many across Merseyside heading to the likes of pumpkin patches or decorating their homes as October approaches.

Based off School Lane idea for the tearooms was born from Charlotte's grandad Henry who used to live on the farm and throughout the year, the team offer different seasonal activities. Charlotte previously told the : 'It was always an idea of my grandad's just to serve cream teas on the cobbled yard. We thought 'let's try it.' 'Gran was always making bread and things like that so I always think 'imagine if she was in here now with us.' She was up at six every morning. 'We serve breakfast and lunch wise we just do sandwiches to order, soup is always homemade. Afternoon tea is quite popular and again it's all homemade.
reporters Charlotte Hadfield and Olivia Williams recently visited the site for their autumn wreath workshop. Olivia said: ' This week my friend Charlotte and I visited Benty Farm Tearooms for their autumnal wreath making class. It was the perfect October activity and the tearoom was decked out in reds, orange and green leaves, pumpkins and spooky season decorations creating that cosy autumn atmosphere.
