Soap opera icon Thom Christopher has died aged 84.
The One Life To Live actor who played Carlo Hesser and his twin Mortimer Bern on the show from 1990-2008 died on Friday with his death announced by former co-star and onscreen son Anthony Crivello on Facebook .
The character was killed off in 1992 but Christopher returned to play Mortimer on-off between 1996-2008.'He was always a gentleman, always supportive, and he and his wife Judith who proceeded him in death, where always gracious to me and welcoming.
