WELD COUNTY, Colo. — A 19-year-old Thorton man died after he was possibly struck by a driver on a Weld County road who never stopped, according to theThe crash was reported just after 1 a.m. Sunday on Weld County Road 87 near Weld County Road 4, which is near the town of Roggen.
According to CSP, the victim was facing an"unknown" direction when he was struck by an"unknown vehicle." After being hit, the victim's body came to rest in the roadway, according to the Colorado State Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said the driver did not stay at the scene.
