Fellow task force volunteer Elizabeth Darden branded the billboard ‘disgusting’ and added: ‘We are all created equal. Why aren’t we treating each other equal?’ And while Bardwell concedes the sign may not be illegal, she hopes putting pressure on the billboard’s owner will convince them to ditch the slogan.
