around 11:30 a.m. Friday outside a Mad Butcher grocery store, 65 miles south of Little Rock, Arkansas. Two law enforcement officers received non-life-threatening injuries while exchanging gunfire with the shooter Friday, according to Mike Hagar, Arkansas State Police secretary of public safety and director. At least one of the eight others injured are in critical condition.

Sarah Huckabee-Sanders said on social media that she had been “briefed on the tragic shooting in Fordyce, and I’m in constant contact with State Police at the scene. I am thankful to law enforcement and first responders for their quick and heroic action to save lives. My prayers are with the victims and all those impacted by this horrific incident.”Law enforcement has not released the shooter’s identity.
