Cassius was allegedly beaten with a metal pole while walking home from school in Perth in October, with his death sparking national outrage and rallies calling for justice.
Gilmore appeared via audio link and said she had been in hospital and had not yet spoken to a lawyer. All three were remanded in custody to appear again in Stirling Gardens on March 29.
