Three men have been arrested on murder charges in the fatal shooting of a woman at an Aurora condominium complex,
Cameron Mooty, 31, Stephan Cherry, 32, and Corey Allen, 26, were detained after speeding away in a truck from the condos in the 14600 block of East Second Avenue Friday afternoon. Police responding to reports of the shooting on Friday found Theresa Burke, 24, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.When the three men got out of the stuck truck and ran, officers caught them and detained them. Mooty had sustained a gunshot wound, “but it was not during his contact with officers,” Moylan said.on outstanding felony warrants and over the weekend were booked on second-degree murder charges.
