Three more men have been charged with violent disorder following riots in Merseyside. Sean Beech, 55, of Len Cox Walk, Manchester, was charged with violent disorder, attempted section 18 assault on an emergency worker and section 39 assault of an emergency worker. He was remanded into custody to appear in court today, Monday, September 2. Connah Piggott, 25, of Landsdown Road, Broughton, near Chester was charged with violent disorder and was remanded to appear in court on Thursday, September 5.
Among the latest people to be jailed for their role in violent disorder was Edgar Didzulas, who admitted violent disorder and was jailed for 28 months, Gavin Pinder was also jailed last week two years and four months, Jonathan Duerden, 31, was jailed for two years and Joseph Buckley, 44, was jailed for 16 months.
