One will be opening just in time for the Christmas rush
Three new shops will help breathe new life into an area hailed as Nottingham's version of Carnaby Street. Bridlesmith Gate, historically the city's most upmarket shopping street, has seen many retailers come and go over the last few years.
The move also includes Superfi and Car Audio Centre, which are also based in the store in Alfreton Road. Nottingham Hi-Fi Centre, which sells home cinema, turntables, and amplifiers, has bounced back since its parent company went into administration in 2019. It reopened after being taken over by the Digva family of Nottingham-based In Phase International.
Other new shops heading to Bridlesmith Gate are OFFseason, a sneakers shop selling brands such as Air Jordan, Yeezy, Dunks and Nike. In a quick turnaround commercial property agents, Box Property has brokered a deal with Exclusive, which will be selling high-end limited edition sneakers at the former home of Joules, which closed in August.
